一年一度的315晚会又曝光了许多令人哭笑不得的“山寨货”。打倒了一个“粤利粤”，又涌现出无数“奥利宝”、“奥立傲”、“奥比利”……

那么“山寨货”用英语应该怎么说呢?

1.fake

fake作形容词意思是伪造的、假装的。作名词时，可以指赝品、山寨货，也可以指冒充者、假冒者。

The company promises to let the customer know whether the product is genuine or a fake. 公司承诺会让顾客知道这个产品是真的还是山寨货。

2.forgery

forgery可以指赝品、仿造品，假钱、假文件、假的艺术品等，都可以用这个词来表达。

I think the paintings are indeed forgeries, but who made them? 我认为这些画确为赝品，不过它们是谁画的呢?

3.knock-off

knock-off是一个比较口语化的日常用词，指山寨货、仿制品，尤其指昂贵产品的山寨版。

I'm not even sure those T-shirts are Pumas, I think they might be knock-offs. 我甚至不确定这些T恤是彪马的，我觉得可能是山寨货。

4.counterfeit

counterfeit是fake的同义词，意思是冒牌货、山寨品。它还有动词和名词词性，分别指“伪造、假装”和“伪造的、假装的”。

Enterprises and governments need to detect counterfeits. 企业和政府应当检测山寨品。

5.copy

我们很熟悉copy这个词，和山寨略有区别，它可以指副本、复制品、摹本。

He has made an identical copy of the painting. 他画了一副这幅画的复制品。

6. imitation

imitate是动词模仿、仿效、仿制。imitation则是仿制品。

You should buy the real thing instead of a cheap imitation. 你要买真品而非廉价的仿制品。

7.copycat

《中国日报》(China Daily)曾用Copycat Culture来指山寨文化。copycat指模仿者、抄袭者，是儿童用语，同时含有贬义。

We will take legal action against the copycats. 我们将对抄袭者提起法律诉讼。
